ANGLING RULES
1. PRE-REGISTRATION FORM IS ATTACHED. Anglers may enter for the first 3 “SUMMER’ Challenges that begins on 4th October 2008 and ends in December 2008. The “WINTER” challenges will take place during April to July of 2009. These dates still to be confirmed.
2. THE OVERALL ‘SUMMER SERIES’ PRIZE WINNER WILL BE THE ANGLER WHO FINISHES WITH THE MOST POINTS OVER THE 3 COMPETITIONS. PRIZES FOR INDIVIDUAL SERIES WINNERS AT EACH COMPETITION.
3. Point’s allocation: BOTTOM FISH - 1 point per kg, GAME FISH - 2 points per kg, BILL FISH – 3 points per kg. (Minimal weights allowed – bottom fish 3kg’s, game and bill fish 2kg’s).
4. All anglers to have valid fishing licenses and to abide by minimal size/quota rules.
5. No sharks, skates or damaged fish will count.
6. The 3 Clubs hosting the competitions on dates specified below will announce final rules, at 19h00 on the Friday night preceding the competition. Facilities for late registrations will be available.
· BLYTHDALE : SATURDAY 4TH OCTOBER
· MTWALUME : SATURDAY 8TH NOVEMBER
· DURBAN SKI-BOAT CLUB : 6TH DECEMBER.
7. Launching and beaching must take place at the nominated launch site for each specific competition. Anglers launching or beaching at other sites will be disqualified.

The nominated Ski-Boat Club’s accept no responsibility for any death, injury or illness sustained or suffered by any person/s, or theft of, or loss or damage to, any property howsoever caused, and whether allegedly due to the negligence of the Ski-Boat Club, where launching, or any of its employees or agents, or arising from the use of any facilities supplied or made available. I the undersigned, indemnify the nominated Ski-Boat Club’s from any liability howsoever arising, through the use of club facilities, equipment or resources.

PRE-COMPETITION RULES – final rules will be advised at the briefings.
1. PRE-Entry Fee is R300 per angler, this includes is the R50.00 launch fee applicable to launch sites. LATE ENTRIES R350
2. No ground fish weighing less than 3kg count for competition
3. No game or bill fish weighing less that 2kg count for competition.
4. Fishing hours: First light to13h30.
5. Only fish weighed at the designated launch site, on the day, will be counted for competition purposes
6. All launches and beaching must take place at the designated launch site
7. No sharks, skates or damaged fish will be counted for competition
8. Briefing will be at the relevant club’s clubhouse – at 19h00 on the Friday night preceding each competition.
9. Please take note of Points system which is detailed on the cover page.
